My country South Africa is proud of its diverse culture and traditional wealth even though some traditions are slowly eroding. They still form and integral part of our daily lives. Cultures integrate with each other to present an attractive juxtapose of the old and the new.

I am learning to incorporate my artistic vision with culture and tradition and the unavoidable social and cultural changes. Providing a vibrant transformation for me as I am learning to overcome fears and explore my artistic vision.

The renewal of certain rituals and practices, the consciousness of different movements encourage people to embrace the values and the pride of a cultural heritage. It inspires me to do works of art in this nature. My aim is to instil a love for African cultures while embracing western concepts as they are inseparable.
