Jeannette Unite

Jeannette Unite has exhibited in London, Scandinavia and has both public and private work in several esteemed collections across five continents. She has held a number of successful solo exhibitions at galleries such as Bell-Roberts Contemporary, Ann Bryant E London Regional Gallery, AVA and the Irma Stern museum gallery, among others. Her patrons include SwissRe, Vocacom, Old Mutual and Clifford Chance.

In the process of mapping areas affected by mining and migrant labour, Jeannette’s work has shown in various locations such as Kimberly, the Mozambique National Gallery and Johannesburg.

Along with facilitating group artist exhibitions and community based projects, Jeannette has made a variety of art videos. Her film in South Africa Today was screened to an audience of 3,500 with a live orchestra accompaniment and opening address by Cheryl Carolus.

Currently her studio in Cape Town provides a hub of resources and space for artists.
