Comforting Demons is one of a series of three works which is from a sequence in a play- the series itself is an extraction from the play I am writing called “Ghost of Fortune”.

In Ghost of Fortune she is forever lost roaming the seas, doomed by a need to see the world under a microscopic eye; where only she is the guardian of faith and destiny; where hidden under her warmth would be our futures written in a poem clutched in between her thighs recited only to the ones willing to listen. For the poem says: “One day you’re going to become what you can never be. Counting what is lost is a shame. Find a madness within a moment of pause: we are at the state of the great wound”.
