Musha Neluheni
Musha Neluheni is a young artist working in Johannesburg. She completed her B.F.A. degree at Rhodes University in 2005. She won a merit award in the Sasol New Signatures competition 2005 and an acknowledgement award at the Sasol New Signatures competition 2006. She is currently working as the assistant curator for the Sasol Art Collection. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions including shows at the KKNK, Aardklop and Volksblad arts festivals. Her first solo exhibition is to be held later this year.
Musha enjoys toying with the idea constraint. The corsets she is exhibiting with us are two works from a series of work relating to the constraints and roles that are particularly placed on to women through history.
