David Rossouw

David Rossouw is an accomplished and celebrated Johannesburg based artist. He completed his training as a professional artist with a Bachelor of Arts Fine, Art Honours from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1980.

David is a sculptor, preferring to use wood and steel as media. His work is reported to have “given Jo'burg some of the world's artiest security gates” (www.southafrica.info).

His metal work is part of the Johannesburg Art City Project and graces such areas as the Johannesburg Zoo and the Forum Homini hotel at the Cradle of Humankind. A mixed media triptych of his resides in Johannesburg Art Gallery Collection.
